2D Animation Fundamentals

2D animation with Adobe Creative Cloud

The great artist and director Chuck Jones, of Looney Tunes fame, was a master of bringing his drawings of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner to life. Take a cue from Chuck and learn to bring your drawings to life through animation in this 2D Animation class. In it, students will explore the 12 principles of animation by engaging in a variety of exercises, all while planning and executing their own animation scenes using Adobe Animate and After Effects. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to share their work and collaborate with peers, and engage in lab time at the end of each session to get inspired or get questions answered. As Porky Pig might say, “That’s not all folks!”

Please Note!: Students must bring their own laptop, mouse, and Adobe account (free trials work too!)
